In the kitchen

To dress up a meat dish, elevate a sauce or perfume a dessert, whisky lends itself well to many uses in recipes. Be sure to try the recipe in this video for Whisky-Flavoured Chocolate Mousse, a real favourite!

Preparation
In a shaker filled with ice cubes, add all ingredients except the orange wedge and the cherry. Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds. Pour the contents of the shaker into an old-fashioned glass. Add the maraschino cherry to the glass and decorate with the orange wedge.

Seasoned vets who love more intensely flavoured whiskies will find plenty to love under the taste tag MEDIUM-BODIED AND WOODY. These whiskies with seductive vanilla notes are used as a base in many cocktails, such as the trendy Bourbon Lemonade. We particularly recommend the iconic Maker’s Mark.

Our easy and efficient taste tags for fine spirits will help you sort through the subtle differences between all the available whiskies on the market.
